AXNES BST50 PNG BASE STATION

The BST50 PNG base station is the beating heart of the system and shall be installed in the platform and connected to the wired ICS. It acts as the interface between the wireless crew and the wired platform system – intercom, platform radios, moving maps etc

In addition to the ICS, the BST50 can be connected to platform installed radios via the aircraft audio control interface or via dedicated audio interfaces. It is capable of delivering a PTT signal to these radios. Thereby the wireless user is able to access any platform installed radio such as tactical or TETRA radios and can use the aircraft as a relay through their mobile transceiver.
